Artfix L21C Medium All-Purpose Double Oil-Primed Linen Canvas is a Belgian linen canvas with a strong, tight weave and medium texture. It is sized twice to seal the fabric, then hand-primed with two coats of Artfix’s lead-like oil primer, offering qualities associated with lead priming without toxicity.

The absorbent surface allows paint to bite into the canvas for strong adhesion, while supporting depth of color and luminous undertones. Its medium weave is suited to landscapes and adaptable for a wide range of oil painting styles. Not suitable for acrylic painting

Artfix Belgian linen has been handcrafted for over 30 years in Provence, France, by the Narozni family. The warm, dry climate is ideal for slow, even drying of primed canvas surfaces. Artfix Linen has superb archival characteristics: each canvas is guaranteed not to peel, crack or flake, and will not fluctuate or lose stability due to changes in humidity and temperature.
