Artfix L42C Double Oil-Primed Coarse Linen Canvas is a coarse linen canvas with heavier threads, a tight weave, and a pronounced tooth. It is prepared with two coats of oil primer, creating a responsive surface for oil painting.

The textured surface provides a strong grip for paint, supporting murals, large-scale work, and expressive brushwork. Its coarse weave is suited to techniques where visible texture and firm paint adhesion are important. Not suitable for acrylic painting

Artfix Belgian linen has been handcrafted for over 30 years in Provence, France, by the Narozni family. The warm, dry climate is ideal for slow, even drying of primed canvas surfaces. Artfix Linen has superb archival characteristics: each canvas is guaranteed not to peel, crack or flake, and will not fluctuate or lose stability due to changes in humidity and temperature.
