Artfix : L43U Coarse Linen Mural : Triple Universally-Primed : 600gsm : 216cm Wide (Apx. 85in) : 5m (Apx. 5.5yds)

Artfix L43U Mural Triple Universally-Primed Coarse Linen Canvas is a coarse Belgian linen canvas with heavier threads, a tight weave, and a pronounced tooth. Extremely strong and durable, the textured surface provides a strong grip for paint, supporting murals, large-scale work, and expressive brushwork.

Its coarse weave is suited to techniques where visible texture and firm paint adhesion are important. The conservator-grade surface is designed to support long-term stability when treated correctly. Its absorbency allows paint to bite into the surface for strong adhesion, while the fine weave supports detailed work, portraits, landscapes, depth of color, and luminous undertones. Universally primed, it is ideal for oil and acrylic painting.

Artfix Belgian linen has been handcrafted for over 30 years in Provence, France, by the Narozni family. The warm, dry climate is ideal for slow, even drying of primed canvas surfaces. Artfix Linen has superb archival characteristics: each canvas is guaranteed not to peel, crack or flake, and will not fluctuate or lose stability due to changes in humidity and temperature.
