Artfix L22U Medium All-Purpose Linen Canvas is a textured Belgian linen canvas with a strong, tight weave and two coats of universal acrylic primer. It is designed as a versatile, all-purpose surface, adaptable for a wide range of painting styles.

The linen is hand-primed with Artfix’s universal acrylic priming, offering qualities associated with oil priming alongside the durability of acrylic. The surface is more matte and absorbent than traditional glossy acrylic primers, and it uses the same weave as Artfix L21C with acrylic rather than oil priming.

Artfix Belgian linen has been handcrafted for over 30 years in Provence, France, by the Narozni family. The warm, dry climate is ideal for slow, even drying of primed canvas surfaces. Artfix Linen has superb archival characteristics: each canvas is guaranteed not to peel, crack or flake, and will not fluctuate or lose stability due to changes in humidity and temperature.
