Rublev Conservar Isolating Finishing Varnish is a colorless, reversible varnish that’s designed to protect oil and alkyd paintings from dirt, dust, and the harmful effects of UV light. It can be used both as an isolating varnish, which protects the paint layer and prepares it for the final varnish, and as the final varnish itself. The formula offers excellent brushability and coverage and dries to a satin-like finish. It’s removable with most low-aromatic aliphatic solvents.
