About this product range
- Seals and protects oil and alkyd paintings
- Enhances and brings out colors
- Minimum solvent action on paint
- Provides outstanding coverage
Rublev Conservar Dammar Finishing Varnish acts as a final, protective layer for oil and alkyd paintings, enhancing their colors and preventing dirt and dust from settling in. Made with the best grade of natural dammar resin, this formula has minimum solvent action on paint, maintaining your work’s texture and details, and will not yellow or oxidize for 50 years if protected from UV light. It dries to a high-gloss film that levels well; if less gloss is desired, simply rub the film when dry.
The varnish can be brushed or sprayed on and takes about three days to dry. It’s removable with turpentine.
