Awagami papers are made from traditional natural fibers such as Kozo and Gampi as well as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp. They are produced at Awagami Factory, a sixth-generation family-run paper mill where traditional methods of making washi sit alongside modern innovations. Awagami Washi is always acid free and uses traditional fibers such as Kozo and Gampi as well as non-tree fibers such as bamboo, cotton and hemp.

Awagami's Creative Washi Box is a beautiful selection of Awagami papers contained in an embossed laquer 'Urushi' paper box. The washi assortment consists of 100-150 mixed sheets from Awagami's range that lean toward the more decorative papers with inclusions and tints. Please note that the papers inside vary slightly from box to box (and season to season). These papers can be used for printmaking, crafts, bookmaking, and more.
