Awagami papers are made from traditional natural fibers such as Kozo and Gampi as well as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp. They are produced at Awagami Factory, a sixth-generation family-run paper mill where traditional methods of making washi sit alongside modern innovations. Awagami Washi is always acid free and uses traditional fibers such as Kozo and Gampi as well as non-tree fibers such as bamboo, cotton and hemp.

Awagami Silk Pure White is a warm white, medium weight Japanese paper with two distinct surface textures, a smooth side and a slightly textured side. Both sides may be used creatively to attain different effects. It is an economical washi great for students and budget conscious printmakers and artists. Can be used for lithography, woodcut, pen-and-ink, charcoal, silkscreen, pencils, markers, pastels, bookmaking and collage.
