Daniel Smith : Signature Series Watercolor Paint : 15ml : Jane's Gray : Series 2

Daniel Smith's goal is to make the painting process as memorable as your finished masterpiece. Daniel Smith have spent eighteen years developing the finest and most complete line of watercolor paint so you can create your own unique vision. Today as in 1993, these watercolors are 'formulated to meet and exceed the highest industry standards for the manufacture of artist's paints', and every batch made is tested and analysed for its performance qualities.

Jane's Gray is a unique color. Most greys, whether Payne's Gray, Neutral Tint or others, are made with a black pigment, and often Phthalo Blue is included. Artist Jane Blundell wanted a gray without the often-dulling effect of a black pigment, and without the staining effects of Phthalo Blue. She wanted a gray that was liftable and granulating to create the look of stormy skies and softened shadows. It will also work as a neutral tint, darkening colors without changing them.

This is a 15ml tube of Daniel Smith Signature Series Watercolor in Jane's Gray.
