Rublev Impasto Oil Medium - 236 ml

• Adds body to oil paint for thick, textured strokes
• Creates slightly transparent textured effects
• Free from stearates, solvents, and resins
• Does not alter drying times or color temperature

Rublev Impasto Oil Medium extends oil colors without altering consistency or drying times, creating a “short,” buttery texture for building thick impasto layers. Formulated with finely ground calcite, silica, and bentonite in pale linseed oil, this putty-like medium allows for greater control in achieving rich, textured effects with a slight transparency.

Unlike other impasto mediums, Rublev Impasto Oil Medium is free from stearates, solvents, driers, and resins, so it’s safe to use without risk of cracking or delamination. Mix it directly with oil paints to maintain color integrity, or thin with a small amount of oil or solvent for varied textures.
