Rublev Balsam Essential Oil Medium - 118 ml

• Adds enamel-like effects to paint
• Promotes a luminous glow in glazes
• Fuses brushstrokes for seamless transitions
• Dries to a satin-to-gloss finish

Rublev Balsam Essential Oil Medium enhances the flow of oil colors, making them brush out more easily for softer edges and smooth transitions. Mix a small amount directly into paints to give them a looser consistency that, depending on the amount used, dries to a satin or glossy finish.

Comprised of 44% Canada balsam in bodied linseed oil and spike oil, this formula is an excellent alternative to traditional glazing mediums. It offers greater clarity and faster drying times than Venice turpentine and preserves your artwork’s vibrancy over time.
