Matisse Background Colors Acrylic Paint - Leaf Green, 250 ml

Create the perfect low-tooth base for a variety of media. Matisse Background Colors are made with a combination of high-grade acrylic paint and professional-quality gesso.

Highly pigmented and lightfast, they can be applied with a brush or roller onto most surfaces for underpainting, home décor, scenic design, upcycling, and more for a flat, matte finish.

These intermixable, non-toxic paints have a medium viscosity. They’re opaque and cover surfaces in one coat. Apply them to wood to create a smooth, sealed surface.

Mix these colors with [Matisse Transparent Gesso](https://www.dickblick.com/products/matisse-transparent-gesso/ "Matisse Transparent Gesso") to create a colored primer with extra tooth for paint and pastels.

Matisse Background Colors are packaged in recyclable jars. Clean up with water.
