• Slows drying and creates soft impasto textures

Rublev Walnut Oil Gel boosts transparency while maintaining colors' natural body. Made from walnut oil and pyrogenic silica, it mixes with oil, resin-oil, and alkyd paints for soft, sculptural textures.

Unlike traditional mediums, Walnut Oil Gel preserves brushstrokes and textures without flow out or leveling. Perfect for glazing and controlled blending, it can be combined with pigments and extenders to create sculptural effects that won’t sink in. Solvent and drier-free, Walnut Oil Gel gently increases drying times and will not cause cracking.
