Exquisitely crafted for unsurpassed performance and durability, Da Vinci Maestro Kolinsky Brushes are made with male winter Siberian kolinsky red sable. Expect superior spring and control, plus unparalleled water-carrying performance.

A family-owned business, for generations Da Vinci has created world-class artist and specialty brushes in Nuremberg, Germany. Crafted utilizing the finest raw materials and latest technical innovations, each Maestro Brush is carefully inspected before leaving the factory to ensure that the finishing of the brush head is impeccable. Maestro brushes feature rust-resistant, seamless nickel and gold-plate brass ferrules.

Full Belly Rounds are like regular kolinsky rounds, except that they have a fuller belly for greater color capacity. Long Tapered Rounds are designed for drawing clean, even lines. Their tapered shape also makes them an excellent choice for quick, expressive work in watercolors, such as illustration and animation drawings. Restauro Retouch brushes are pointed rounds with a shorter tip than standard kolinsky sable rounds.
