The Blackwing Color Pencils provide bold, smooth color for both writing and artistic applications. These pencils feature a richly pigmented core that is perfect in layering, shading, and blending. Each pencil is crafted from premium California-grown incense cedar, known for smooth sharpening, durability, and natural resistance to warping. The hexagonal barrel prevents rolling, while the signature Blackwing eraser allows for clean, precise corrections.

The Blue pencil features a non-photo blue core, so its marks don’t show up in scans or photocopies. This color is great for underdrawings and drafting. The Blackwing Red Pencil delivers vibrant red color, ideal for proofing and notation.
