Blackwing Pencil Packs invite artists and authors to revel in the sensory experience of drawing and writing with a premium quality pencil. The Japanese graphite core is wrapped in genuine California incense cedar, which features a fine, straight grain that sharpens easily to a flawlessly precise point. Each pack contains 12 pencils, plenty for daily use in the studio or at the office.

Made using a proprietary combination of graphite, wax, and clay, the durable core glides across the page in smooth, dark strokes, accompanied by the subtle scent of cedar. The roll-resistant, semi-hexagonal casing features a sophisticated lacquer finish that’s soft to the touch, and the triple-crimped ferrule securely clasps a flat eraser—a signature Blackwing design element.
