Manetti : Imitation Gold : Color 2 : 160x160mm (Apx. 16x16cm) : 100 Loose Leaves

Manetti Imitation Gold Color 2 in Loose Leaves are imitation metal leaves supplied in 160 x 160mm sheets in books of 25 or 100. Available in both loose and transfer formats, they offer a larger leaf size than traditional genuine gold leaf and are designed for decorative gilding where easier handling and quicker coverage are useful.

Loose leaf is particularly suited to intricate gilding on porous or highly detailed surfaces, such as carved furniture and picture frames, and can be applied to both flat and carved surfaces.

Because imitation leaf is thicker than genuine precious metal leaf, it is easier to handle and apply, making it suitable for both experienced gilders and beginners. Once applied, it should be protected using a dedicated sealant to help extend its life and reduce the risk of tarnishing.
