With a good gold content for greater durability, they are intended for fine gilding work where a genuine gold finish and reliable long-term performance are required.

Loose leaf is particularly suited to intricate, high-end gilding on porous or highly detailed surfaces such as carved furniture, picture frames, detail in fine art, and restoration work, both indoors and outdoors. A dedicated sealant will help extend its life and reduce the risk of tarnishing.
