Manetti : Water-Based Gilding Size : 125ml

Manetti Water-Based Gilding Size is a water-based adhesive for applying gold leaf or imitation metal to interior surfaces such as wood, clay, and stucco. Made from an acrylic-based co-polymer resin in a water solution, it is intended for thin, even application on suitably prepared supports.

It can be diluted with water by up to 30% and applied with a pad, brush, or spray on non-water-resistant surfaces. Gold leaf can then be applied after 30 to 60 minutes, although working time will vary depending on dilution, application method, and the amount used, so testing on the chosen surface is recommended.
