Mount Vision : Soft Pastel : Set of 18 : Light Portrait

Mount Vision Soft Pastel Light Portrait Set contains 18 handmade soft pastels selected around a range of lighter portrait colors. Created by Karl Kelly using traditional and synthetic pigments, the pastels have a buttery feel while retaining the strength and durability needed for confident mark-making and layering.

Each pastel is made with pigments combined with a base of chalk, talc and clay. The handmade production gives the sticks their distinctive character, while the coordinated color selection makes the set useful for developing highlights, lighter values and subtle tonal variation in portrait work.

This set contains the following 18 Mount Vision Soft Pastels: 472, 312, 313, 314, 323, 322, 1043, 501, 502, 384, 471, 373, 1042, 191, 192, 193, 482 and 481.
