Mount Vision : Soft Pastel : Set of 18 : Dark Portrait

Mount Vision Soft Pastel Dark Portrait Set contains 18 handmade soft pastels selected around a range of deeper portrait colors. Created by Karl Kelly using traditional and synthetic pigments, the pastels have a buttery feel while retaining the strength and durability needed for confident mark-making and layering.

Each pastel is made with pigments combined with a base of chalk, talc and clay. The handmade production gives the sticks their distinctive character, while the coordinated color selection makes the set useful for developing shadows, deeper values and tonal variation in portrait work.

This set contains the following 18 Mount Vision Soft Pastels: 1062, 1064, 500, 190, 180, 1060, 930, 932, 933, 934, 1044, 160, 860, 181, 182, 862, 863 and 864.
