Rublev Colours Lead Oil Ground is a professional-grade primer designed to create a smooth, brilliant white surface with optimal adhesion and flexibility. Made with alkaline-refined and heat-bodied linseed oil, it provides the ideal balance of penetration control and holdout, ensuring a stable foundation for oil and alkyd paints.

This high-pigment formula requires just two coats for excellent coverage, though additional layers can be applied for a smoother surface. Suitable for canvas and rigid supports, it dries within two days to one week, depending on humidity and temperature. Completely free of zinc oxide, it resists blistering, cracking, and delamination, offering artists a time-tested, archival-quality ground.
