Liquitex Professional Soft Body Acrylics deliver rich, permanent color in a low-viscosity formula made for versatility. Originally developed as the first water-based acrylic in 1955, this modern version offers a smooth, flowing consistency that’s perfect for fine detail, staining, watercolor-style washes, and fluid techniques like pouring and glazing.

Each color contains high pigment concentrations and a flexible acrylic binder that ensures excellent adhesion and surface integrity. The low-drip formula allows for precision in brushwork or pouring, and it dries to a consistent satin finish with minimal color shift.

Properties
Quinacridone Red is a high performance, transparent pigment with an average drying time and uneven dispersal. It is another name for Quinacridone Violet (PV19) and Quinacridone Red (PR192). Quinacridone pigments have relatively low tinting strength in general. For this reason, quinacridone colors are often expensive, because more pigment is required in the formulation.
Permanence
Quinacridone Violet has excellent lightfastness and is considered the most lightfast organic pigment in this shade range.
