Pebeo Studio Green Gessoes are the first eco-designed acrylic gessoes made from 100% recycled raw materials. Boasting the same rigorous strength, adhesion, flexibility, and durability of traditional acrylic grounds, these quick-drying, universal gessoes generate six to seven times fewer carbon dioxide emissions — the result of an innovative formulation that replaces petrochemical resins with a recycled resin binder.

Ideal for use on canvas, wood, cardboard, and other surfaces, Studio Green Gessoes dry to a lightly textured matte finish that improves the adhesion of acrylic or oil paint layers. They can be sanded to a smooth finish after drying.

Jars, not including lids, are made from 100% recycled materials.

Studio Green White Gesso is a highly opaque universal gesso with medium viscosity and good covering power.

Studio Green White Gesso One Coat is formulated with a high concentration of Titanium White pigment for a thick, opaque, one-coat ground with superior covering power.
