Golden : Open : Slow Drying Acrylic Paint Mixing Set & thinner : 22ml : Set of 12

The Golden Open Slow Drying Acrylic Paint Mixing Set contains a balanced selection of 12 slow drying acrylic colors ideal for color mixing using the intuitive split primary method. A warm and cool choice of each primary color in addition to other key colors allows the artist to mix an extensive range of colors with a limited palette.

Golden Open Acrylics have an extended drying time, allowing you to work with your paint for longer. These colors are very versatile: they can be used directly from the tube for traditional styles and plein air painting, or for monoprinting and screenprinting.

Open colors are workable for a similar length of time as professional oil colors (up to 100 times the drying time of regular acrylic paint). Unlike oils, you can use them without any strong solvents. You can blend, soften, shade, glaze, and use fine detail, and the paint will remain workable and wet. The range has a slightly softer consistency than Golden Heavy Body paints.

This set includes a 30ml bottle of Open Thinner and the following 22ml colors: Benzimidazolone Yellow Light, Benzimidazolone Yellow Medium, Naphthol Red Light, Quinacridone Magenta, Phthalo Blue (Red Shade), Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Phthalo Green (Yellow Shade), Raw Umber, Titan Buff, Carbon Black, and Titanium White.
