Renaissance Workshop Materials : Silverpoint Stylus : Artisan

<p>The Artisan Silverpoint Stylus is a traditional silverpoint drawing tool from Renaissance Workshops Materials. This silverpoint stylus is perfect for obtaining fine lines and creating a detailed drawing on a gesso or primer prepared surface.</p><p>Each stylus is unique and made by hand in London in the craft tradition of Medieval and Renaissance Europe. The Artisan stylus has two beautifully tapered silver tips and a copper-alloy brass middle. The design of the Artisan is based on the silverpoint stylus depicted in Rogier van der Weyden’s <em>St Luke Drawing the Virgin</em> c. 1435–1440.</p><p>The Artisan Silverpoint Stylus is approximately 17.5cm in length. </p>
