Gamblin : Artist Oil Paint : 37ml (1oz) : Sevres Blue

When creating their Artists’ Oil Colors, Gamblin were mindful not only of how an artist works, but also of an artist’s working environment. Gamblin Artists’ Oils have the best qualities of traditionally made oils paints, combined with the latest technical innovations, to give the ultimate working properties. The Artists’ Oil range spans from historically accurate paints to modern, synthetically derived hues.

This is a 37ml tube of Gamblin Artist Oil Paint in Sevres Blue. Inspired by the iconic glazes of 18th-century Sevres Porcelain, Sevres Blue is a modern interpretation of a classic. Warmer than Cerulean Blue Hue while cooler than tints of Phthalo Blue. Great for depicting open skies, Sevres can be particularly useful towards the top of a composition, where the sky radiates its deepest and richest blues, evoking the clarity and depth of the upper atmosphere.
