- Specialized range for realistic weathering effects - Includes textured effects for mechanical wear - Exceptional strength and abrasion-resistance - Maintains high-definition surface detail - Gloss and Matte finishes for technical accuracy - Water-based, solvent-free, and low-odor Vallejo Mecha Color Weathering Acrylics are formulated to bring realism to high-action models and figures without compromising durability. Designed for frequent handling, Weathering Acrylics feature an advanced formula for exceptional strength and adhesion on the most challenging surfaces. The range includes everything you need to replicate the mechanical aging of robots and armored vehicles. From greasy engine stains to desert rust and oil-slicked earth, washes and textures apply smoothly by brush or airbrush. Once dry, the effects become a permanent, abrasion-resistant part of the model, ensuring your weathering remains intact through high-impact posing and play. Mecha Color can be used directly in an airbrush or diluted with thinner, and it applies beautifully by brush for fine touch-ups. Precise 17 ml dropper bottles prevent evaporation and allow for drop-by-drop dispensing. A compressor pressure of approximately 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg) is recommended.
