The Holbein Irodori Artist Gouache selection offers traditional gouache colors inspired by the beauty of the four seasons in Japan. As with their watercolors, Holbein have produced a gouache of exceptional quality. They grind their gouache more finely than others, adding little or no opaquing agents to their color.

The pigments used have been chosen for exceptional saturation and the ability to mix freely without loss of brilliance, opacity or hue values. The colors will give consistent results without darkening or muddiness, they will not bleed or crack and offer complete opacity when layered.

This set contains 12 x 15ml Holbein Artists’ Gouache Paints in the following colors:

Crimson, Iron Oxide, Russet Brown, Dark Brown, Patina, Russet Green, Geisha Blue, Hummingbird Blue, Peony, Rikyu Gray, Blue Black, Antique Gold
