Ampersand Encausticbord Pack - 5" x 7" x 1/8", Flat, Pkg of 3

Created as the result of a collaborative effort between Ampersand and R&F Encaustics, Encausticbord features a ready-to-use surface that meets the unique demands of encaustic painting and mixed media.

Encausticbord's acid-free archival ground is highly absorbent and holds tight to layers of wax and collage without cracking or separating. It can be used with any combination of mediums to create incredible textures, colors, and patterns.

Encausticbord is available in a variety of sizes and profiles. Every Encausticbord begins with Ampersand's 1/8" Hardbord, the finest pressed wood panel available. Made in the U.S. from quality hardwoods, Hardbord resists warping and moisture penetration. The cradled panels are made with Ampersand's beautiful signature baltic birch cradles that are ready to paint, stain, or use in their natural state.
