Schmincke : Horadam Watercolor Paint : Limited Edition : 1930s Retro : 15ml : Solferino

Schmincke Horadam Solferino has been specially reissued as part of the Schmincke Retro Collection. The range features a selection of special edition sets and individual paints inspired by the original packaging design and color selections from a 1930s catalog discovered in the Schmincke archives.

In order to achieve the best possible standards of lightfastness, resolubility and stability, Schmincke Horadam Watercolors contain only the finest raw materials.

The paints are bound with Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to the natural source of the binder, the gum arabic does tend to differ slightly year on year. Schmincke continually test the ingredients, and the best of the batch is selected to ensure the highest quality is achieved. This means paint which has dried onto your palette can be easily re-wetted and painted with again. The range features 150+ colors, with 95 single-pigment hues for clean mixing.
