Lascaux : Medium 3 : 85ml : Satin Matt

Lascaux Medium 3 dries to yield a water-resistant satin finish. Added to Lascaux acrylic colors it increases yield. It also serves as a satin varnish for works on flexible substrates.

Use and Application:

• For glazes and as a sealer for concrete surfaces
• Collages and embedding of various materials
• Suitable for flexible substrates
• As a sealer
• As sizing for paper and canvas
• As a colorless varnish (add 25% water)

Lascaux mediums increase transparency of colors, and they increase the adhesion and film strength of strongly diluted colors. They also improve spreadability. Hue and viscosity remain unaltered. All Lascaux mediums contain pure acrylic dispersion and are therefore extremely lightfast and age-resistant. Lascaux additives increase the scope of colors.
