Inspired by the work of 17th century Milanese goldsmiths, Caran d’Ache Maille Milanaise Fountain Pens feature a beautifully engraved, interlocking chainmail motif for an elegant look and tactile feel. Premium materials and Swiss-made reliability only enhance their timeless allure.
The finely balanced hexagonal barrel and postable cap are made from solid brass and finished with a layer of platinum. The delicate mesh pattern is carefully etched into the platinum finish using diamond guilloche, an exacting technique used in the manufacture of fine watches. It creates intriguing visual depth and a gratifying texture that contrasts beautifully with the smooth, polished finish of the stainless steel nib, grip section, and flexible clip.
Each pen comes equipped with an ink pump and arrives nestled in an elegant gift box. Includes two Blue ink cartridges.
