Gamblin : Gamvar Picture Varnish

Gamblin Gamvar Picture Varnishes saturate and give greater depth to the oil colors in your painting. They will impart a unified and protective finish with either a gloss, satin, or matte sheen. Developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Art, Gamvar goes on water-clear, stays water-clear, and can be easily and safely removed with Gamblin Gamsol. Gamvar is virtually odorless and ready to apply.

Gamvar can be applied when the thickest areas of your oil painting are thoroughly dry and firm to the touch. Apply with a brush, do not spray.
