• Archival, waterproof finish

When highlights need to pop, Sakura Gelly Roll Opaque White Pens set the standard. Smooth, creamy bright white gel ink glides over dark paper, black ink, marker, and mixed media without skipping, muddying, or turning gray. Add a pinpoint catchlight to an eye, pull a sharp shine across wet-looking ink, scatter stars over a night sky, or clean up an edge—all the tiny final details that make a drawing or illustration come alive.

One of the most popular pens in the Gelly Roll lineup, the white Gelly Roll comes in three tip sizes for everything from tiny details to bold finishing marks. The 05 Fine draws a 0.3 mm line for delicate highlights and cross-hatching. The 08 Medium draws a 0.4 mm line for lettering, journaling, accents, and clean-up. The 10 Bold draws a 0.5 mm line and lays down the most generous, opaque coverage, making it the go-to for stars, shine marks, and crisp highlights.

Great on dark, kraft, and colored papers, ink adheres to coated stock, photographs, and vellum. Once dry, it's waterproof, fade-resistant, and archival. Give heavier marks from the bolder tips a few extra seconds to dry before layering, handling, or closing your sketchbook.
