About this supply
Ho-Sho paper is a Japanese-style paper traditionally used for printmaking and drawing. Ho-Sho paper is known for its soft surface, strength, and subtle texture, making it especially suitable for relief printing, woodblock, lino, and drypoint.
The off-white tone provides a gentle warmth that softens contrast compared to bright white papers, which can be particularly effective for ink-based processes. It is recommended to print onto the smooth side. The paper is very strong and accepts ink exceptionally well.
