About this supply
Versatex Color Fixer is an additive for the Versatex Screen Printing Ink range. It increases washfastness and eliminates the need for heat setting of the inks.
If you don't want to heat set your fabric paints then add a small amount (1-2 teaspoons or 5-10 ml per 1 pint or 0.47 ltr) of this fixative to your paint. Apply as usual but paint must be used within 8-12 hours otherwise its effectiveness will be lost. Then let your work sit for at least five days before any water exposure. This product is used instead of ironing, to fix the paint and make it wash fast.
Always test prior to production runs. Water-based & non-toxic.
