Belle Arti : Canvas Pad : 40x40cm (Apx.16x16in)

Belle Arti Canvas Pads are composed of sheets of acrylic primed medium grain cotton canvas each pad contains one free Belle Arti Cotton Art Board.

The texture is great for blending and while being fairly absorbent the heavy canvas takes acrylic or oil well. They are great value and can be used for quick sketches and plein air as well as being of a good enough quality to be framed and used for finished professional work. If you need a smoother surface it is easy to apply a thin extra coat of gesso to the surface.

The sheets on each pad are glued at the top and bottom to avoid the canvas wrinkling while you work (after painting is dry gently remove top painted sheet by dragging a butter knife along edges from inside gap).

P.E.R. Belle Arti was established in 1979 by its founder Riccardo Elio Pieraccini who aimed at creating a handcrafted product with the most modern technologies. Therefore P.E.R. has specialised itself in the production of stretched canvases, offering the market products of the utmost reliability, which are carefully controlled from the origin through the whole cycle of production.

This is a pad of 10 sheets of universally primed medium grain cotton canvas, with one free Belle Arti Cotton Art Board included. Each one measures 40 x 40cm.
