- Professional quality - Handmade with pure pigments and gum arabic - 62 brilliant, lightfast colors - Draw, paint, and blend—wet or dry - Perfect for travel and plein air Like a pan in your hand, Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolor Sticks deliver pure, professional watercolor in a totally portable, all-in-one format. These sticks are shaped by hand using the same premium pigments and gum arabic binder as Daniel Smith’s classic watercolors, so you get vibrant, lightfast color without any waxes or oils. Activate the stick with water, draw directly on wet or dry paper, or pick up color with a brush—just like a pan. Draw bold lines that blend but don’t easily lift, define contours, or go loose with washes and blends right on the page. With 62 brilliant shades, every stick offers a flexible, compact way to sketch, paint, and layer wherever inspiration strikes. Perfect for studio, plein air, or travel. Made in Seattle, Washington.
