Gatorfoam : Heavy Duty Foam Board

Gatorfoam Heavy Duty Foam Board is a strong, lightweight and moisture-resistant material that makes a reliable support for a variety of art media. It is suitable for stretching watercolor paper, coating with your preferred ground for a versatile pastel and watercolor surface, or using it as an easily transportable alternative to heavier canvas panels, making it a good choice for plein air painting.

Gatorfoam board is an extruded polystyrene foam board bonded between two layers of Luxcell wood-fiber veneer. It is much stronger than traditional foam boards and can be cut to size at home.
