Belle Arti's flawlessly primed linen and cottons are made in such a way that will prevent peeling, flaking or cracking of paint that is applied. This means that the surface is stretchable yet stable, qualities which are very important when producing artwork on a larger scale.

This linen has a medium weave and is gesso primed, giving the linen more ability to withstand layers of paint. A gesso primed linen is perfect for most mediums and has a chalky surface.
