The Synthetic Hog Bristle Paddle Brush is the firmest in Da Vinci’s paddle range, engineered to mimic the strength and bite of natural hog hair. Its stiff bristles excel at applying gesso, primers, and textured paint layers where a bit of tooth is essential. The short paddle handle puts your hand closer to the surface, giving you direct control and smooth wrist movement across wide areas.

Bristles are locked in place with a proprietary system inside a stainless-steel ferrule, delivering lasting strength for heavy mediums and broad strokes. The ergonomic handle features a curved top edge and laser-engraved grip zone for comfort and stability.

Crafted in Germany from FSC-certified European wood, it’s designed to feel like an extension of your hand, delivering immediate, confident mark-making. A must choice for priming, glazing, blocking in, and covering large surfaces with ease.
