Hanco : Magnesium Carbonate : 1lb

Hanco has a range of bespoke modifiers that can be used across the ink ranges, these modifiers can be used with other traditional ink formulations outside the Hanco ranges.

Hanco Magnesium Carbonate is a general-purpose ink stiffener. When added to oil-based printmaking inks, magnesium carbonate powder will add body and stiffness to the ink while also reducing its length (it shortens the ink).

Hanco Printmaking Inks are recognized as a leading global brand with a distinguished pedigree in manufacturing. Taking its specialized knowledge and state-of-the-art equipment, Hanco widened its range to incorporate etching and relief inks that sit alongside a selection of bespoke ink modifiers. In consultation with major research institutions and art schools, Hanco have fine-tuned their inks to give the highest possible performance. Their ink formulations are entirely vegetable-based, giving the environmentally conscious printmaker the opportunity to minimize their impact on the environment while still producing high quality prints.
