Please note, Cadmium ‘Hue’ means this is a replica of Cadmium and does not contain any actual Cadmium. Cadmium Hue colors use alternative pigments that do not contain Cadmium metal compounds. Turner Acryl Gouache paint is opaque and dries quickly to a matte finish. Manufactured in Japan, these paints are colored with extremely finely ground pigment and have a fluid consistency which enables an even spread of uniform color across large areas. Turner Acryl Gouache can be used with regular acrylic mediums (such as Golden mediums) and thinned with water. Once dry, they are water-resistant, which means they can be applied in multiple layers without bleeding (working times can be extended using the Turner Retarder). These paints are highly adhesive, and when they are used over the specially formulated Turner grounds, they can be used on almost any surface, including rock, metal, glass, paper, canvas, and wood.
