Saunders Waterford : 1/4 Sheet : 300gsm (140lb) : Single : Not

SKU PPS140N14

This superb artist-grade paper from Saunders Waterford is a 100% cotton watercolor paper, with a structure giving it strength and a characteristic feel. The manufacturing process, using a cylinder mold, makes it possible to obtain harmonious and varied grains with rough, cold pressed, and hot pressed quality. The paper is gelatin-sized, and then air-dried, so that the colors retain a fine rendering even after being scraped and erased. Its natural whiteness (no optical bleaches), mildew protection and neutral PH mean that the paper has a very long shelf-life. Saunders Waterford paper is also endorsed by the Royal Watercolor Society. These sheets have a Not (cold pressed) surface. The surface of the paper is slightly textured, and is not suitable for extremely detailed work. Most painters will find it suitable for most purposes.
