About this supply
Unique to Fabriano, Artistico Soft Pressed Extra White watercolor paper has a texture that sits between the roughness of cold pressed and the smoothness of hot pressed paper. It is smooth enough for detailed work, but the gentle grain is also ideal for calligraphy, drawing, and printmaking.
Fabriano Artistico is mold-made, produced with 100% cotton. It is chlorine and acid-free, ensuring archival longevity. The paper is sized both internally and externally for balanced absorbency, and tolerance of scrubbing and masking techniques.
Brilliant white, without optical bleaching. Two deckle edges and watermarked "FABRIANO+ARTISTICO" on the short side. Short grain.
Ideal for watercolor, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite, and drawing. It is also suitable for printmaking.
