Gamblin : Oil Painting Medium : 3-in-1 : 250ml (8.5oz)

Gamblin Oil Painting Medium 3-in-1 is the leanest of Gamblin’s mediums, specially formulated for fluid washes, underpainting, and tonal layering. It extends the flow of oil colors, increases transparency, and dries to a subtle satin finish without adding unwanted gloss. Ideal for artists seeking greater control in the early stages of painting, 3-in-1 allows for as much or as little mixing as desired.

This versatile medium is also excellent for preparing wood panels and other surfaces before applying an oil ground, helping seal the substrate and preventing warping over time. Additionally, 3-in-1 is ideal for oiling out, restoring saturation and evenness to dry, dull areas of a painting, and providing a uniform surface before varnishing.
