Derwent : Inktense XL Block : Tin of 12

The Derwent Inktense XL Block Tin of 12 contains a classic selection of chunky, pastel-like watersoluble blocks that deliver intensely vibrant color. These soft textured XL blocks have been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand, allowing you to freely lay down broad strokes and expressive marks, but also the control to add fine detail.

Derwent Inktense XL Blocks combine the brilliant, vivid colors of Inktense Pencils with the freedom of blocks making it easy to cover large areas very quickly. You can use these watercolor blocks dry or add water to create deep, intense color washes. Due to their permanence once dry, Inktense doesn't wash away like watercolor so it can be worked over without affecting previous layers. Inktense blocks can be used on more than just paper - due to the staining power of the pigments, you can use them on many porous surfaces including canvas, ceramic, wood, and fabric. XL blocks have an approximate measurement of 60 x 20 x 20mm each.

This set comes in a smart compact tin and contains the following colors: Sun Yellow, Bright Blue, Poppy Red, Antique White, Ink Black, Field Green, Tangerine, Fuchsia, Deep Violet, Leaf Green, Mustard, and Payne's Gray.
