Fleur : Designer's Paint : Verdigris Effect

Fleur Designer’s Paint Verdigris contains tiny copper particles that oxidize when you apply the specific Reagent. Verdigris is the common name for a green pigment obtained through the application of acetic acid to copper plates or the natural patina formed when copper, brass or bronze is weathered and exposed to air or seawater over a period of time.

The result of these products is a real verdigris coating, which can be more or less homogeneous according to the type of application (roller, brush, sea sponge, etc.). Once you have reached the desired effect, the application of the Anti-oxidant Finish protects the Verdigris and stops the oxidation process.

Fleur Designer’s Paint Verdigris products are professional, water-based, easy to use and perfect for obtaining real verdigris coatings on all surfaces such as wood, metal, plastic, glass, etc. Available in two shades, a lighter and a darker shade.

Application:

• 1. 2 Coats of Copper
• 2. 2. 1 Coat of Reagent

Optional: 1 Coat of Primer to insulate the surface 1 Coat of Anti-oxidant finish for better protection

Coverage: a 130 ml jar covers approximately 1 m², while a 330 ml jar covers about 2.5 m². The Reagent consumption depends on the desired effect.
