The Blick Mid-Fire Stoneware Clay is a versatile and reliable choice for artists of all skill levels. With its smooth, pliable texture, this clay is ideal for hand-building, sculpting, and wheel-throwing projects. Designed for mid-range firing, it achieves a durable finish at cone 5 or a richer, more refined look at cone 6. This thixotropic clay becomes more smooth and pliable as it is worked.

Available in three colors:

Soft White: A light cream hue with 13.5% shrinkage and 0.5% absorption at cone 5, and 13.9% shrinkage with 0.3% absorption at cone 6.

Light Brown: A warm-colored clay offering 14.36% shrinkage and 0.5% absorption at cone 5, with 14.8% shrinkage and 0.2% absorption at cone 6.

Dark Brown: A dark, nearly black clay with 13.4% shrinkage and 0.3% absorption at cone 5, and 14.3% shrinkage with 0.2% absorption at cone 6.
